7.00 (above average) I saw this on Netflix and watched out of pure curiosity since I've seen most of .hack//SIGN. Solid OVA with likable and funny characters and should be watched by any fan of the series. I think that five episodes would have sufficed for this story because even though it was and OVA, they built a solid story from the first episode and the two episodes afterwards felt rushed towards a somewhat incomplete ending.

9.50 (excellent) A very solid american based "anime". The series has an original stroy of the avatar who is the master of all four elements but mysteriously dissapears when the great war emerges. The new avatar named Aang must master all the elaments in order to defeat the fire lord from taking over the world. This show includes lots of humor, epic fight scenes and bending of the four classic elements. Should have been a 10 but there were some not so good and boring episodes. (Which the creators jokingly admit in commentaries.)

7.75 (good) I started this series in 2011 and finally got around to finishing it. I had stopped midway through the OVA for some unknown reason and now I’m glad I’m done because I really did enjoy the series. The first two seasons had good character development between the main members of Revy, Benny, Dutch and Rock. The badassery, psychopathic tendencies and violence was what made this show worth the watch. At the end of the seasons, I was genuinely excited for the OVA’s. Needless to say I was unimpressed at the start of them. The focus on Roberta and her “avenger” mission was what made me take a 3 year hiatus. In the end, the ending was worth it, although bitter sweet, but realistic.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!

7.00 (above average) Chuunibyou is bottom line cute and very typical Kyoto moe. The characters, story and theme of the show were adorable, light hearted and had me wanting more...until i got to the second season. Don't get me wrong, I liked the second season but i felt it wasn't needed and didn't have the same emotional impact like the first season had (reminds me of another sci-fi anime by Kyoto *cough*haruhi*cough*) I didn't even feel rewarded after finally completing the series because the ending was a let down for me. Overall, Season 1: 9/10, Season 2: 5/10, average 7/10. As said by someone on the internet, Chuuninbyou's season 2 was, in simple terms, a "c*** tease".

10.00 (excellent) Oh my God... This show was one of the best, not just in anime, shows I have ever seen. I enjoyed every single character and the stories behind each of them. My favorite character of all time (still is) is Spike Spiegel who may be the most badass character ever to be drawn on a paper. His lifestyle, back story and personality are literally the definition of cool. His crew members Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Radical Edward each have unique stories that are fitting and complementing of each other. The story of this show meshes together all the characters and immerses you in a fantastic universe of space travel and everyday life of what bounty hunters might be like in the future. I believe it is truly deserving of its place as one of the greatest animes of all time.

Deadman Wonderland

Last Updated: Apr 02, 2014

8.75 (very good) I believe this series is of pure originality. The main character, Ganta, gets framed for murdering his classmates in a bizarre incident and is sentenced to a prison/carnival dubbed Deadman Wonderland. What drives this series is the relationships Ganta forms with his cell mates, a mysterious girl named Shiro and her past, along with the daily survival that must be endured. Midway through this series is a lovely twist that really makes you feel for some characters and makes you wonder what you would do in their place. A key part of this plot is the violence of the series and the use of bloody and gruesome predicaments. If you enjoy gruesome reality and twisted story plots then this is the show for you :D
P.S. this review is based off the manga which I recommend over the anime.

8.00 (good) This show defines itself in its own genre and gainex has established they make the weirdest shows cool. The characters are likable but you dont get attached to them as in other animes because the "series" is only 6 episodes. Overall the story was enjoyable and was good enterainment, just not great. Also, prepare to make this face for the entire show (O.o)

9.50 (excellent) I'm giving it a 9.5 cause it has a some what complex story. I was a little lost at times but overall i got the main points of the two stories. The two seasons are amazing and have a very well thought out plot. Section 9 is like the A-Team of Japan. You should call them cause The Major, Batou, Pazu, Saito, Togusa, Ishikawa, Paz and Borma are all the S***.

9.50 (excellent) I started watching this show just out of curiosity. Young female assassins working for a government agency, how does that not catch your attention? This show had me hooked from episode one with all the action, intense character relationships and complex story. This series has it all: action, guns, romance, plot and some of the best pairs ever created. Also i nearly cried during this show...twice (;__;)

8.00 (good) Very solid anime. Has a very basic plot though...zombie infection, kids ban together, love relationships form, survival and yeah. I liked it and there was ALOT of fan service (almost enough to be a hentai...jk). But the group is a very well thought out one. My favorite was Saeko. Mmmmmmmmmm... has long hair, nice curves, kicks SO MUCH ass and she loves doing it. Did i mention she uses swords? Yeah...double hot ;)

Last Updated: Aug 11, 2013

8.00 (good) I enjoyed this anime for a pretty obvious reason...hot chicks beating the crap out of each other. Suprised? Didn't think so ^.^ This series (which consists of Ikkitousen, Dragon Destiny, Great Guardians, and Xtreme Xecuter) are as basic at story telling as there is when it comes to a fighting anime. There are ancient dragons, mystical powers and of course people with super human strength. There are also panty shots...and ALOT of them. So if like simple characters, easy to follow plot, busty chicks kicking the crap out of each other and nudity (yes they are topless some scenes and there are entire OVA's devoted to fanservice with nudity) then this is the show for you! *Thumbs up sign*

8.75 (very good) This is a solid anime even for a moe one. It has a simple and fun story, comedy and a cute cast. This is one of those shows where you just watch it simply to just laugh at and chill. It has a simple story line of a light music club band that has a dream of making it big. This was also my first anime of the moe genre and I am not ashamed that I enjoyed it. I recommend this anyone no matter what kind of anime you watch. Also, Azu-Nyan was so damn kawaii >_<

6.25 (average) A watered down Ikkitousen is the only thing i can think of to describe this show. I enjoyed it, but felt like I needed more after its mostly uncomplete ending. Natsuru is the typical harem lead character and honestly he kind of annoyed me throughout the entire show even though that's his character role. (Shizuku was by far the best girl) This only way i got actually managed to get through this series was the plot and the transform fetish. That's it. If you're ever bored and want to see a couple of fight scenes with some fanservice, give this series a whirl. If not, you're not missing much at all.

9.25 (very good) An original story with familiar characters is how I think of KyoAni’s Beyond the Boundary. I think this series neatly and carefully blended action, comedy, romance and hints of fanservice all in one. I was really hooked on the characters and how they all interacted but what confused me was when I got to the end. The ending leaves open a lot of holes in the story in terms of why things happened and where things came from. Apart from that, solid cast, beautiful main heroin and an ending scene that should take on an emotional rollercoaster. As of now, I’m awaiting the confirmed release of the movie.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00

8.25 (good) This was my first gundam anime that I have watched all the way through and I was not disappointed. I had wanted to watch a gundam series but didn’t know where to start and this show was recommended to me by my friends. It was mainly recommended for the action and how badass the lead character, Setsuna, was. After completion, I did enjoy the story along with the plot twists but was not even slightly convinced that Setsuna was as cool as my friends said he was. Some of his lines where a little corny and he could have been a little more gruesome in some of his actions. Plot wise, season one was by far way better than season two in terms of story and the characters involved (a particular character, Saji, pissed me off way more in season two than he should have). In all though, solid gundam series and next in this genre is Gundam Seed which eventually I’ll get around to.

10.00 (excellent) I'm a Narutard :P I've been with this show since its debut on the original Toonami. People hate on it because of filler, plot not being deep enough, etc. Fans of this series knows that the story is deep, characters memorable and filler happens to the best of animes (Get over it). For anyone about to or trying to get into this series, just read the manga. Also, It's apart of "The Big 3" for a reason so it has to be doing SOMETHING right, right?

9.50 (excellent) This series...This series was pure good comedic fun. Every episode made me question "what the f***!?" while still laughing my ass off. I loved the relationship between the main girls but Hakase and Nano were my favorite BY FAR. In my opinion, this show is what FLCL could have been if FLCL was an actual series and not just 6 episodes. As for this series, I actually cant wait to own it once it comes state side for a reasonable price.

8.25 (good) This along with K-on! is just another anime you can watch and get a good laugh out of it. I enjoyed this series from beginning to end mostly because of Kirino (Female Protagonist) who reminds me of Harui Suzumiya and that Kyousuke (male protagonist) is equivalent to Kyon. The story is simple, easy to follow and is light hearted throughout the entirety. Depending on who you've been routing for in this harem you may or may not be disappointed by the ending choice of Kyousuke in the second season. I, for the record, was contempt with the choice :D

8.00 (good) I will admit, i havent seen all of the first season of pokemon even though it was on TV everyday when i was a kid. But i will admit ive poured countless hours into the gameboy games. Classic show with classic characters but after about the second season, it just lost all its momnetum. Pokemon was the shit...back in the day though. Also, pokemon the first movie and 2000 are both still amazing, still have them both on VHS.

8.25 (good) This show was definitely not your typical shoujo anime. At first the three main characters Makoto, Katsura and Sekkai have a typical love triangle relationship but things soon change throughout the course of the anime. Ladies...be prepared to feel like beating the crap out of Makoto ^.^ However, the manga counterpart has a campletely different story route and for once an anime portrays the plot better than the source. In all, I recommend to anyone to watch the series as it has a good plot twist ending which will leave you like (O_O)

9.00 (very good) This show is a 10...for the manga. In the anime they rushed the ending of an otherwise awsome series. The series it self has a very sold plot with some epic teams. Each is broken up into two categories: meister and weapon. There is Maka & Soul, Death the Kid(Shinigamis son) & the Thompson sisters, and BlackStar & Tsubaki. I like each pair and love the series. Very good

7.50 (good) I've actually been meaning to watch this for awhile. After completing Vividred Operation I knew I had to go back and watch the series that started the bottomless movement. As a sucker for moe animes, I enjoyed it more than I should have but the story was adorable, although predictable, and the action was above average. On a side note, since this anime is pretty much fan service, I had to find and watch the uncensored version mainly because I cannot stand censorship and its blatant obviousness. In the end, I found it worth it and I would recommend this show to anyone who enjoys moe animes to watch it at least once. An interesting fact to keep in mind is that all the characters names are based on real WWII aces and anyone who enjoys history should look them up.

9.75 (excellent) This show is amazing and I loved watching it from beginnig to end. The characters are likable and has a very solid plot. Plus, Yoko Littner (one of the sexiest girls in anime) is in it :). If you dont know who she is, watch and find out. Back on subject- Gurren Lagann will keep you hooked throughout with its awsome line up of characters, backstories and suprises. Must watch. And the word EPIC cant even describe this series as a whole cause honestly... WHO THE HELL DOES THAT WORD THINK IT IS?!

7.50 (good) The series revolves around Maya and Aya Natsume and their complex past of their martial artist brother and friends. The story and back story is pretty much told through their point of view and dabbles in the present with the new comers Bob and Nagi, who join the school. The show itself is pretty lack luster as the last couple of episodes are just cliff hangers. And most of the show was just flash back anyways. If you truley want to enjoy this series i suggest reading the manga which far surpasses the show and has a very rewarding ending.

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi

9.00 (very good) This show is a solidly good anime and is in a genre all its own. I like the fact that you could watch in multiple orders and I'm probably going to go back and rewatch it in the other order. The series had me busting out laughing many times because of either Haruhi's absurd plans out of boredom or Kyon's "I dont give a f***" attitude." Overall, everyone should at least watch the first season and do not turn away from the series because of the first episode which will leave you saying "WTF".

Vividred Operation

7.50 (good) I made a mental note to myself years ago that I wouldn't watch a "magical girl" anime. I was gravely mistaken when I stumbled upon Vividred Operation and ended up watching the entire series without questioning my motives. The plot of this story was linear; girl gets suit, fights monsters, girls friends also get suits and fight bigger monsters, final boss battle at end of show with the biggest monster. And the underlying theme... FRIENDSHIP. Bottom line, it was cute girls with badass weapons magnified x1000 fighting evil and I watched it for those reasons. Lastly, ass shots...and lots of it :)
